It’s Your Turn
You’ve spent years taking care of everyone else.
No guilt, no pressure - just women in midlife finally doing the thing.
Why This Exists
I had a heart attack the day before I turned 38.
The scariest part wasn't almost dying. It was realizing how much I'd been waiting. Waiting to travel. Waiting to take up space. Waiting for permission from someone to just go live my life.
So I booked a trip to Thailand and went. By myself. Figured it out when I got there. One of the best and scariest things I’ve ever done.
Four months before I left, my dad had a stroke, and we lost him soon after. My mom was alone for the first time in 42 years and was lost. We started talking about future plans and trips to look forward to, and she told me she was going to Bali with me the next year. Four weeks after I got home from Thailand, I found my mom passed away in her home at only 65.
I'm not telling you this so you feel sorry for me. I'm telling you because while all of that was happening, I was also starting over. New home. New chapter. Raising my kids and figuring out who I am outside of everything I used to be.
Oh — and for the first time in my adult life, I'm doing it single. No roadmap for that one. Just figuring it out one day at a time, same as you.
Midlife hands you all of it at once — the grief, the rage, the reinvention — and somehow nobody talks about any of it honestly.
I'm not here as someone who has it all figured out. I'm right here in it with you.
We forgot about you. This is where you come back.
So What Is the Hell Yes Collective?
Midlife isn't code for "old." It's not a diagnosis.
It's just the middle — the part where the kids need you less, the parents need you more, and somewhere in there, you disappeared.
This is where you come back.
It's not a support group. It's not a book club. It's not a complaint session.
It's a permission group.
Permission to say you're exhausted even though you love your kids. Permission to be furious at your job without being told to reframe it. Permission to grieve and still book the flight. Permission to put yourself first without explaining it to anyone.
You can love your life AND need a space that's just yours. Both things are true here.
This is not about hating anyone or anything. It's about finally, honestly, showing up for yourself.
Who It’s For
You can't remember the last time someone asked what YOU needed.
You're holding everyone else up and doing it mostly alone.
You're not falling apart. But you're not fully yourself either.
You keep saying someday. Someday keeps not coming.
This is the someday.
